Meet the Founders

Auxano Forever was born from two Ghanaian families — the Wasai family and the family of the late Chief Kuri-Buktie Limann — and a shared belief that the shea butter and baobab oil of their home should reach the wider world without losing what makes them special.

Martin Limann brings Auxano Forever’s products to customers in the United States, carrying forward a family tradition rooted in Gwollu and the Sissala West District of northern Ghana.

Ramatu Wasai-Limann helped transform local shea production into sustainable, paid work for women in Sissala West — relationships that remain at the heart of everything we make.

Our roots trace to Gwollu in the Upper West Region, where our forebears helped build the historic Gwollu Slave Defence Walls, a lasting symbol of resistance and dignity. That heritage lives in every product we make.
